How DEFINTEL works, what every panel means, and how to verify our signals yourself.
01What DEFINTEL Is (60 seconds)
DEFINTEL unifies three intelligence verticals in one platform: Stocks (34 AI channels), Sports (16 channels), and Prediction Markets (12 channels) — 62 channels total, scoring continuously. Instead of showing you raw data feeds and leaving interpretation to you, DEFINTEL's channels each watch one class of signal (insider filings, dark pool prints, line movement, market mispricing) and the platform scores what all channels say together.
02Verify Our Signals (the SHA-256 explainer)
- When a signal is generated, its full content is hashed (SHA-256) and timestamped before the event it predicts.
- The hash is published with the signal. Any edit to the signal after the fact would change the hash.
- After the outcome, compare: the published hash still matches the original signal text. Nothing was rewritten, cherry-picked, or backdated.
This is why we say “provable, not promised.” No screenshots of wins after the fact — cryptographic proof written down in advance.
03The Stock Terminal, panel by panel
- Live Signal Feed — tickers scored across 34 channels; each signal shows its tags, confidence score, and (on paid tiers) full reasoning. Free accounts see 3 of 25 live signals.
- Contagion Cascade Map — the market's wiring. Every line is a real 252-day return correlation between two tickers (hover any pair for its ρ). Distance from SPY = correlation strength. Teal = a live cascade event propagating today; baseline links show market structure. It redraws from live data on every load.
- Congressional Trades — stock trades filed by members of Congress, parsed from public disclosures same-day as filing. Amounts appear as ranges ($1,001–$15,000, $15,001–$50,000, etc.) because the STOCK Act requires disclosure in statutory bands, not exact amounts — small bands dominate because most congressional trades are genuinely small.
- Net Gamma by Ticker / Gamma Exposure — dealer gamma positioning computed from live options chains; positive/negative regime per ticker.
- Macro Regime — live classification (e.g., R1_BULL) from VIX, credit spreads (real FRED data), and market internals — shown in the top bar on every terminal page.
- Insider Activity / Flow / Dark Pool — SEC Form 4 clusters, institutional options flow, and dark pool prints as separate channels feeding the composite.
04The Sports Terminal
16 channels of enriched sports data intelligence: line movement + reverse line detection, sharp vs public money divergence, injury + weather impact, best-odds comparison across books — across NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and more. Convergence gating: a pick surfaces when multiple independent channels agree, and each pick's channel breakdown is visible on intelligence tier. Signal history is SHA-256 verified like everything else.
05The Predictions Terminal
12 channels tracking Polymarket, Kalshi, and prediction ecosystems: whale positions, volume spikes, cross-platform arbitrage scanning, calibration curves. The question DEFINTEL answers here isn't “who's betting” — it's whether the market's price is wrong, scored across 170K+ tracked markets.

07FAQ
Why do congressional amounts show ranges instead of exact numbers?
Federal law (the STOCK Act) requires members to disclose in bands, not exact figures. We show exactly what's filed.
Why does a panel sometimes say “building data foundation” or show few signals?
Because we don't fabricate. When market conditions produce few high-conviction setups, the honest count is what you see. A quiet feed is a working feed.
How fresh is the data?
Signals score continuously during market hours; congressional filings parse same-day as they're filed (members have up to 45 days to file — that lag is federal law, not our pipeline).
Can I verify a past signal wasn't edited?
Yes — that's the point of the SHA-256 system (Section 02).
