The Origin Story

DEFINTEL didn't start as a company. It started because I got tired of being on the wrong side of information asymmetry. The same data that hedge funds pay $50K+/year for — insider filings, dark pool flow, gamma exposure, institutional rotations — was technically public. But scattered across dozens of sources, buried in SEC filings, and impossible to process manually.

The question that drove everything: "What if I could build a system that ingests ALL of it, scores every ticker across every data source, and delivers ranked intelligence automatically?"

That question led to 31 parallel data channels scanning 229 tickers continuously. SEC insider filings, congressional trades, dark pool flow, gamma exposure, earnings NLP, macro regime classification, and more — all fused into a single ranked score per ticker.

The founder runs his own capital using DEFINTEL's data. Every channel is battle-tested with real money before it's available to subscribers. If the data isn't good enough for the founder's portfolio, it doesn't ship.
